About

Iotatron started with one conviction: most websites are built to be finished, not to work. And almost none of them are built for the way people search now.

The Iotatron workspace

How we got here

We kept meeting the same frustrated founder. They’d paid a real amount of money for a website. It looked fine in the pitch deck. Then it launched slowly, nobody could edit it, and six months later it was quietly embarrassing.

The problem was never talent. It was structure — a designer who never saw the build, a developer who never saw the strategy, and an SEO contractor brought in after every decision that mattered had already been made.

So we built the studio we wished existed. Small enough that everyone is in every conversation. Senior enough that nobody is learning on your budget. And opinionated enough to tell you when the thing you asked for isn’t the thing you need.

So Iotatron is deliberately small: one person who designs, builds, and ships, taking on few enough projects that every one gets the same standard — whether it’s a $249 one-pager or a twelve-month engineering engagement.

Principles

Six things we don’t negotiate

Every studio has values on a page. These are the ones we've actually turned work down over.

Taste is a discipline, not a mood

Good design decisions are defensible. We can tell you why a headline is that size, why the spacing steps the way it does, and what it costs you if we change it.

Speed is a feature people feel

Nobody has ever complimented a site for loading fast. They just stay. We treat every kilobyte as a decision with a price attached.

One person, start to finish

No juniors learning on your budget and no handoffs. The person in the kickoff call is the person writing the code.

Say the hard thing early

If your idea won't work, you'll hear it in week one, not at launch. That's what you're paying for.

Ship, then keep shipping

Launch is when the data starts. The best version of your site is the one that's been improved for a year.

Leave it better than we found it

Documented, tested, and handed over properly — so anyone who picks it up after me isn't cursing my name.

Who you work with

One person. Every project.

The person who designs your site is the person who builds it, and the person who answers when you email. No account manager, no handoff, nobody learning on your budget.

That’s also why the calendar is deliberately short. A $249 one-pager and a $12,000 build get the same attention — which only works if there aren’t thirty of them running at once.

I take on a handful of builds at a time on purpose. If you want that attention on yours, get in touch.
